Original and very rare photo with autograph in excellent condition. Belov Simon G. (31.01.1871 —?). Orthodox. He graduated from the Alexandrovsky cadet corps and 2nd Constantine military school. In the service 31.08.1889, 05.08.1891 came out a second Lieutenant in the 86th infantry Vilmanstrand regiment with seniority with 10.08.1890. Lieutenant (article 10.08.1894). With 28.12.1894 in the Life-guards Moscow regiment. The Lieutenant of the Guard with seniority 05.05.1895. Battalion adjutant (02.02.1898). The Captain (article 06.05.1900), captain (article 05.08.1903). He commanded a company (1 year 3 months). With 25.02.1909 staff officer for assignments of class VII at a Main control administration, renamed the Lieutenant with seniority 05.08.1903. Staff officer for the orders of class VI (with 26.07.1910). The chief of St. Petersburg quartermaster clothing store (with 23.11.1910). Colonel (1910, art. 06.12.1910, for the difference). On 06.12.1914 and 01.08.1916 in the same rank and position. In 1935 lived at the address: Leningrad, Vyborg side, Forest Ave., D. 13/8, kV. 67. Arrested 11.03.1935. Sentenced by the OSO of the NKVD of the USSR 14.03.1935 as a socially dangerous element to exile in Orenburg on 5 years (along with his wife Belova Ekaterina Petrova). Rehabilitated 31.08.1989. Awards: order of St. Stanislaus 3rd St. (1907), St. Anna of the 3rd art (1912), St. Stanislaus 2-nd St. (VP 06.12.1914), SV. Vladimir 4th St. (VP 24.08.1915).
The photograph depicts captain in dress uniform sample 1907 (uniform with gold embroidery special pattern and colour lapel, epaulettes, Shoe with awards and a shoulder belt with a gun). On the left side of the chest visible sign Konstantinovskogo military school, on the right – apparently, public schools (information about the training of this officer in officer schools or academies are not available). Apparently, the photo was taken in February, 1909 and is dedicated to the translation of S. G. Belov to a new place of service in quartermaster Department. Conspicuous military bearing characters depicted together with the captain, and the insignia of the Military order (soldiers ' cross of St. George) on the chest of one of them. Probably, it is discharged lower ranks, continuing their service in the regiment as a civilian. The final answer to this question might allow to study the record officer. Size with frame 340*395 mm Guarantee of authenticity.
