Eugene p. Dolinsky (Dolivo-Dolinsky) was born in an old noble family, once came from the gentry Rzhechi Commonwealth. After graduating from the gymnasium in Priluki, Poltava gubernia, in 1895, entered the Moscow infantry cadet school-and graduated two years later.
