Visit-portrait. A military officer of the time, recently graduated from a course warrant officers, dressed in a shirt of light linen or blended fabric, fitted with breast pockets. Smooth watanya buttons with ears – one of the manifestations of fashion final period of the war, when the double-headed eagle was associated with the deposed monarchy. Epaulets, a cloth khaki patch with a dark orange gleam and a silver star. The most interesting detail of the photo – bomb of Caucasian type with patterned handle. Since 1913 Caucasian checkers were supposed to wear in all cases, all officers who served in the armed forces of the Caucasian military district. During the war they could be worn in other parts, but the ranks of the Caucasian army corps adhered to the old traditions. Interestingly, the sword's handle decorating it with ornaments is very similar to the authorized officer of Efes for Caucasian checkers, introduced in 1913, but, unlike the latter, has the Imperial monogram on the finial and handle (black) is made not of wood but of metal. The sword worn over the shoulder on a narrow Caucasian belt rawhide, decorated with a similar ornament. On the back of the photo inscription "4 Jul 1917, at 10 o'clock in the morning, 5 min and 6 ½ h. Dear friend Alexander from Cornflower". The guarantee of authenticity.
