A very rare lot of pictures with the well–known full name of the person depicted on them - Ensign Nikolai Mikhailovich Hapilov, a full St. George cavalier of the 25th Infantry Smolensk Regiment. On May 15, 1915, for differences in cases against the enemy, he was promoted to ensign (VP 26.01.1916). He commanded the 15th company of the regiment. On July 15, 1915, he was concussed at Novosedlitsa, but remained in the ranks. 6 days later, he was wounded there, after which he was evacuated to the rear. After the war he lived in Voronezh. The lot consists of an original photo of the cabinet format, which depicts the cavalier himself, and another photo, which, apparently, was reshot in the 1950s and 60s from the original pre-revolutionary picture. The size of the second photo is 165*220 mm. Guarantee of authenticity.
