An original and extremely rare photograph is a witness to one of the tragic events in Russian history. The picture taken by the elite metropolitan photographer K. Bulla shows the process of removing the body of Interior Minister D.S. Sipyagin, who was killed on April 2 (15), 1902, at one o'clock in the afternoon. He was given a "death sentence," and this sentence was carried out. Stepan Balmashev, a member of the fighting organization of the Social Revolutionaries, who appeared at the premises of the State Council in an officer's uniform allegedly with a package from Grand Duke Sergei Alexandrovich addressed to Sipiagin. When Sipyagin took the package in his hands, Balmashev fired five shots, from which Sipyagin died an hour later. The figure of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II is clearly visible in the foreground. The photo size is 11.5*16.4 cm. There are glue marks and owner's marks on the back. Guarantee of authenticity. It's rare.
