A rare picture of a famous Russian general in good condition. Special attention should be paid to the St. George's saber with numerous fencing pads mounted on the scabbard. The photo size is 65*105 mm. The photo is pasted on cardboard. The reverse side is clean. Guarantee of authenticity.
Lieutenant General Nikolai Maksimovich Ivanov (19.11.1859 - 03.01.1935). Orthodox. From the hereditary nobility of the Smolensk province. A native of art . Serviceable Kuban KV. He received his education at the 1st St. Petersburg Military Gymnasium. He joined the service on 08/14/1877. He graduated from the 1st Pavlovsk Military College. He was released as an ensign (08/08/1879) with renaming to second lieutenants of artillery and enlisted in the 3rd Reserve Artillery Brigade. Lieutenant of the Guard (art. 01.01.1885), staff captain (art. 04/01/1890), captain (art. 03/24/1896). Colonel (st. 06.12.1901). Commander of the 133rd Infantry. Simferopol regiment (12.03.1906-14.07.1910). Major General (pr. 1910; st. 07/14/1910; for distinction). Commander of the 2nd Brigade of the 7th Siberian Rifle Division (07/14/1910-01/14/1914). Commander of the 2nd brigade of the 21st Infantry. divisions (since January 14, 1914). Lieutenant General (pr. 16.01.1916; st. 26.09.1914) with confirmation in office. Commander of the 3rd Caucasian Army Corps (07.1917-08/06/1917). Since 1920 he emigrated to Yugoslavia. He served in the Skopje Military District.
