The origin of the subject to the Warsaw fortress artillery is easy to install the gold lace edging on the bottom edge of collar and uniformed letter "V.", which can be seen on the shoulder straps have some pictured. Trim with lace collar and cuffs, as combatant non-commissioned officers, was rated as a distinctive sign of the regimental musicians of the orchestra (by then the terminology of "choir music"), even if they are not consisted in the non-commissioned officer ranks. At center right, coat of dark-blue color – conductor, or, as it was officially called, "the official training for musicians", performing also the functions of the conductor. Distinctive signs of his outfit – round civilian badge on the crown cap and Gasunie valves on the collar patches and stars denoting rank. The latter suggests that the photo was taken in the period 1885 – 1897 when officials of the Military Department were not supposed to shoulder straps. To his left, in a gray coat – adjutant in charge and was a lifelong musicianship team at any part where it was supposed to. Black hat long fur suggests that the picture was taken on the occasion of his transfer to Siberia or the far East. Conditions of service there was much heavier, but it was easier to make a career due to preferential seniority and salary with additives "for service in remote areas of the Empire." In those years in the far East transferred a talented and capable officers who are tired of office routine, the more fortress service. To say goodbye to his head came all subordinate team, including the dog and cat. A unique photo with a great story. Size 165*225 mm. Recommended!
