The visit-portrait. The pupils of the Marine corps in the early twentieth century was given a uniform similar to the uniform of sailors and non-commissioned officers of the Guards naval crew, but has the Body differences. The uniform was made of black cloth, was double-breasted, fastened with six buttons, turn-down collar, straight cuffs, and a smooth back. On the collar was sewn buttonholes from a special "clip" braid (in guards the crew from "bitovogo" lace), buttons depicted double-headed eagle with crossed anchors. The main distinctive sign of the Sea cadet corps were shoulder straps of white cloth, trimmed with lace on three sides and its surface was decorated with an anchor entwined with a rope and ropes (thin wires). The entire metal device on his uniform (buttons, gold braid and anchor) was Golden. Students who have shown outstanding achievements in combat training and in the Sciences, could be carried out in Junior and senior non-commissioned officers with assignment on the shoulder straps respectively, two or three transverse stripes. The photo shows Junior non-commissioned officer with two stripes, made of "Grenadier" tape used for stripes non-commissioned officers of the Grenadier parts and sword belt cadets of military schools. In the late 1900's or early 1910-ies of the "Grenadier" of the braid was replaced by yellow, as the non-commissioned officers of the Navy. The exact date of this replacement has not been established. Presumably, it happened in 1909, which, coupled with the Mat on which pasted the photo dates it back to the beginning of the twentieth century (until 1909). Guaranteed original. Rare.
