One of the essential properties of the revolutionary events of 1905-1907 in addition to the strikes, demonstrations and barricades in the streets were very frequent raids of groups of revolutionary militants (in the present- illegal armed groups), both at the governmental and various private banking institutions. Usually they were of expropriation (in the jargon "expropriations"), and simply put, robbery with the purpose of extraction of cash on the needs of the revolution and especially some of its leaders. The situation was complicated by the fact that while none of the banks was neither armed guards nor the "panic button". Only some of the employees of the state kazantzaki institutions were armed with revolvers and sabers, and other employees could be fitted with civilian guns, but for protection from the militants not enough. Therefore, after the beginning of the revolutionary events of power, recovering from the momentary paralysis of winter and early spring of 1905, took energetic measures for the protection order. Among them were also the contents of the guard with all the important government places (post office, Telegraph office, state-owned enterprises and banks). The guard was dressed from the military units of the garrison or, in the absence thereof, from business travelers from other cities of military commands. Only a few soldiers trained, disciplined and armed with long-range store with rifles with bayonets were a formidable force against the raiders. In this case, the guard shift consists of three people – apparently, two privates under one corporal. They are all dressed in summer uniforms – caps with covers, gymnastic plain white shirts with epaulets, black cloth trousers and boots. Equipment every infantryman is equipped with a waist belt and one ammo bag. The shooting location is not established. It was suggested that the photo was taken in one of the little Russian provinces, in favor of which show signs of the offices of the two plants in Kharkiv and Gnivan (on the territory of modern Sumy region of Ukraine). However, a passer-by on the sidewalk dressed in a costume typical of the Caucasus – a low fur cap, us to make a chokha (Circassian), short tight pants and soft low boots. In favor of the "Caucasian" version say also year old white covers to completely cover the cap with a peak, characteristic of the southern military districts. A case with the clasp on two hooks in the back existed in 1867 – 1907. the Encryption on the rim of the case is not applied, and the badge was diagonals at the crown on top of the case. Size 117*147 mm. the flip side glued tape. A rare story, an illustration of one of the dramatic moments of Russian history.
