Original large-format photos in good condition. Size 360*460 mm. the Number of the picture (about 240 people) roughly corresponds to the infantry company in wartime. The absence of the soldiers weapons and equipment, as well as typical Barack with the number "29" on the entrance indicate that the picture was taken not position, but near the rear where the division devoted to rest and recharge. Similar wooden barracks were built at some distance from the positions outside the field of fire of enemy heavy guns, and are alternately engaged by parts, taken off the front. Most depicted a middle-aged soldiers called up from the reserve. In the foreground is the company drummer with his instrument. Above the drum, in the center of the third row of company officers and Sergeant-major, knight of St. George. Recognize the command structure is easy by the presence of their officers ' sabers. Among other shows the number awarded the George awards (they were allowed to wear an overcoat on top of) small. This suggests that the company either got to the front recently and has not participated in serious fights, or is replenished with reservists after big losses. Judging by the predominance in the photo waist belt infantry of the sample (with buckles), it is made in the initial period of the war, when these belts has remained in the warehouses were issued and massively mobilized. Towards the end of the war, they almost completely replaced the straps of the cavalry of the sample with spiskovima buckles, which in the photo are also present, although in smaller quantities. This group photo was difficult to maintain because of their large size, so these days they are rare. The guarantee of authenticity.
