The original epaulettes, consisting of a crimson lining and a scaly field, characteristic of all cavalry insignia. The Pereyaslavsky Dragoon regiment was awarded the monogram of Alexander III for epaulettes and shoulder straps on November 1, 1894, shortly after the death of the peacemaker tsar, who was the chief of the regiment from the moment the latter was formed in 1856 until the end of his life. Throughout the period 1894-1916, the applied color (crimson), the color of the instrument metal (silver) and the monogram assigned to the regiment remained unchanged. Excellent collector's condition, completely original collection. A rarity.
