Description

When the uniform uniform for military aviation was introduced in January 1914, officers were assigned shoulder straps of the same color as in the engineering troops – silver with red gaps, edging and lining. The presence of a special overhead sign in the form of a double-headed eagle holding a propeller and a sword in its paws indicates that the owner has the qualifications of a military pilot. In February 1914, the same Roman numerals were installed for the ranks of aviation detachments subordinate to army corps, as for officers of corps headquarters. Later, Roman numerals were introduced for army headquarters, but the aviators, judging by the photo, continued to wear the old ciphers until the end of the war. The presence of this combination of ciphers allows you to date the shoulder straps to the time of the Great War. The shoulder straps are in excellent condition and original assembly. Extremely rare. Guarantee of authenticity.
