When the new uniforms were introduced in 1908, the ranks of the Ministry of War and the places under its jurisdiction received colored edging on shoulder straps and cuff flaps, which differed in colors in different structures of the Ministry. For the Main Artillery Directorate and the places under its jurisdiction, a white edging was installed on red shoulder straps with a gold device. The places under the jurisdiction of the Main Artillery Directorate included the artillery departments of military districts, as well as the departments of the chiefs of artillery of fortresses and army corps. Ciphers in Roman numerals in the form of an army corps number were introduced for the ranks of corps headquarters and departments in February 1914, which makes it possible to date the presented shoulder straps more narrowly. The 4-carbon shape and the overcoat lining indicate that they were intended to be worn on a greatcoat. The shoulder straps are in an amazing collectible condition, they are on sale for the first time. Guarantee of authenticity.
