A pair of original and extremely rare epaulettes in excellent condition. Paired epaulettes of shooters have practically not been found on sale lately, and senior ranks have not been found at all. Cloth, gold thread, gold braid. The field and underside are crimson, which indicates that they belong to rifle units. The ciphers "8" are brass, gilded. An interesting feature of one of the epaulettes is that it is an integral part of two narrower parts of the braid, which probably indicates the military production of products (such replacements of missing materials were quite common). Otherwise, the condition is without comments. The 8th Infantry Regiment was formed on July 20, 1808 and was part of the 2nd Infantry Brigade, later the division. He was stationed in Czestochowa, Petrokovo province. In the period 1911-1917, these epaulettes could belong to the following people:
12/20/1911 – 1912 – Vsevolod Romanovich Kireev, Colonel (on 03/01/1912). He died in 1912.
06/19/1912 – 1914 – Alexander Fedorovich Davydov, Colonel (on 09/21/1914). He died of wounds on 22.09.1914.
11/13/1914 – 10/06/1915 – Rustanovich Vasily Arsenyevich, Colonel
02/18/1916 –? – Konstantin Apollonovich Rex, Colonel (as of 05/20/1917).
