Description

Spare troops spetsializirovanykh trained on the preparation of recharge for parts of the army. Recruits and reservists not previously served in the army, took place in the spare shelves of a training course lasting several months, and then go marching units to the front. Network spare infantry battalions began to take shape in the course of the mobilization in 1914 Battalions, as a rule, lodged in barracks, left over from bygone to the front parts. However, the loss of the army and, accordingly, need her trained completion was so great that, beginning in 1915, the spare infantry battalions began to unfold in the spare infantry regiments, which lasted until the end of the war. The form of uniforms for reserve battalions were established in prewar years; the lower ranks of these units were assigned shoulder straps protective color coded in two lines, straight style (sample 1911): top – room of the battalion, the lower (reduced – letters "p. z.b." (infantry reserve battalion). The taking of battalions of the reserve regiments uniform not fundamentally changed, was only prescribed to change character. In practice, the order with clearly specified encryption did not appear that brought to life the different spellings of the second line: "p. s.p.", "s.p." or "Zap.". The shoulder straps are sewn from cloth protective color, without inserting a fused canvas, and thus procured not earlier than August 1914 and by late 1915, when due to acute shortage of cloth shoulder straps have started "to build," mainly from moleskin (brushed cotton fabric). Encryption applied yellow oil paint in strict accordance with the requirements of the order of Military Department No. 228 dated may 30, 1911 shoulder Straps in excellent condition except for frayed time thread stitching one of them, as well as minor dirt and damage from moths. Like soldiers ' epaulets, made during the war, but in accordance with the pre-war rules today are very rare. Perhaps craftsmanship is due to the fact that they were made in the workshops of the capital's garrison. 176-th infantry reserve regiment was stationed in the Red Selo near St. Petersburg, and his troops played a significant role in the events of February and subsequent months of 1917. Original guaranteed.
