History

The destroyer "Voiskovoy" on September 24, 1904 was entered into the lists of ships of the Baltic Fleet, in 1904 was laid down at the shipyard of the plant "Lange and Son" in Riga, launched on November 26, 1904, entered service in June 1905. In the campaign from 1905 to 1908, he was part of the Practical Detachment for the Defense of the Baltic Sea coast. Until 10 October 1907, she was classified as a minecruiser. Since 1909 - as part of the 1st Mine Division. The building underwent major repairs in 1909-1910 at the Creighton & Co. Joint-stock Company plant, with the replacement of hot water pipes in boilers and bulky ventilation deflectors of boiler rooms with "mushroom-shaped" ones. In addition, the mainmast was moved to the aft bridge. In 1917, the hull, main and auxiliary mechanisms were repaired and re-equipped at the Creighton & Co. Joint Stock Company plant. During the First World War, it was part of the 6th Division of the Mine Division. He participated in raiding operations on enemy communications and patrols, the defense of the Courland coast and the Gulf of Riga, mine laying in the south-eastern and central parts of the Baltic Sea. Escorted and carried out anti-submarine defense of the main fleet forces. From 8 to 21 August 1915, he participated in the Irben and from 12 to 19 October 1917 in the Monozund operations. He took part in the February Revolution. On November 7, 1917, she joined the Red Baltic Fleet. From 10 to 18 April 1918, he made the transition from Helsingfors (Helsinki) to Kronstadt. On October 24, 1919, she departed via the Mariinsky Water System from Petrograd to Astrakhan and on May 7, 1920, joined the Volga-Caspian Military Flotilla. From July 5, 1920, it was part of the Caspian Sea Naval Forces and from June 27, 1931 – the Caspian Military Flotilla. In December 1920, he participated in battles with counter-revolutionaries and bandits in the Lenkoran region. In June 1922 and June 1928, he paid visits to Enzeli (Pahlavi, Persia). It underwent major repairs in 1922-1923 and from February 17, 1929 to June 1, 1931 (modernization). On 23 August 1926, she was reclassified as a gunboat. During the Great Patriotic War, he provided military and national economic transportation in the Caspian Sea (from August 1942 to February 1943). On July 18, 1949, she was removed from the Navy with the transfer of the organization DOSFLOT of the city of Stalingrad for use as a training ship, and on June 28, 1958, she was removed from the lists of DOSSAF vessels with the transfer of Glavvtorchermetu for disassembly for metal.
