Lithograph printed in colored inks on paper. Size 245*300 mm. Has a bend at the center. In the bottom part signed "Brockhaus and Efron. ENCYCLOPAEDIA. Words." (left) and Lit. I. Kadushin, S. P. B." (on the right). These signatures allow us to determine the origin of lithography: it was printed in map printing Alexey Ilyin, occurred in 1859 and still existing. Geographically cartographic establishment at the appointed time I was on the street a Large Workshop (1867-1898 years). Range of cartographical institution was unusually wide: it is fundamental atlases, thematic atlases, 200 items of General geographic, thematic maps, 50 maps, globes, textbooks, and magazines, the coronation albums of Russian emperors, samples of ornaments for embroideries, etc. Signed on the left indicates that this lithograph was printed as a Supplement to the famous encyclopedia Brockhaus and Efron, published by joint publishing company F. A. Brockhaus and I. A. Efron (St. Petersburg) in the years 1890-1907. The journal was published in two versions — 41 volume 2 extra (smaller part of circulation) and in volumes — 82 and 4 extra.
