A very rare and interesting document from the early years of Soviet power, issued to the famous artist and architect A.P. Voloshenko. On the third page is the stamp of the Consulate General of the Ukrainian state in Moscow. Guarantee of authenticity.
Moscow artist Andrey Prokofievich Voloshenko. Born on August 19 (31?), 1883, in the village of Protsivka, Poltava province (now part of the city of Romny, Sumy region). He graduated from the Protsyvnoye Primary Russian College (1895), the Mirgorod Art and Industrial School (1903), and the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture (1914). Architect, artist. Along with his architectural achievements, he honed his skills as a painter. He created a series of portraits, miniatures, landscapes, and still lifes. He is the author of illustrations for A. Pushkin's poem "Ruslan and Lyudmila". Diploma winner of the 1st exhibition of creative works by architects of Moscow (1944). Full member of the Moscow Architectural Association (since 1914). He worked as a senior architect in the Catalog department of the USSR Academy of Architecture, Moscow (1940s). Main works: "Ukrainian Night" (1915), "Castle with Towers" (1918), "Snowdrops" (1937), "Bird Cherry" (1954). Participated in the design of the Baikal-Amur Railways. According to the artist's designs, a number of public and residential buildings have been built in Moscow. Most of his works (more than 60) are preserved in the Romensk Museum of Local Lore. He died in 1959, in Moscow.
