A rare set of documents that belonged to the Vyborg teacher of a secondary school Stepan Nersesyan. Lot includes the documents of the order of St. Anna of the 2nd and 3rd degrees, St. Stanislav of the 2nd and 3rd degrees, as well as a photo of the owner of Cabinet size. All elements of the lot in excellent condition. Two documents signed by Panov Nikolai Nikolayevich (1831-1901 years), privy Councilor, Chancellor of the Chapter of orders. The guarantee of authenticity. On the reverse side of the photo marks the inserts in the album.
Stepan Nersesyan pogorevich (1859-1944 years). He studied at the Baku real school, where he showed ability in painting. Wanting to become an artist, he is not after graduating from College, in 1879 he went to Petersburg and entered the Academy of fine arts. After studying for four years, left the Academy because of illness and returned home, receiving a certificate of permission to teach drawing in secondary schools. May 16, 1884, the Council of the Academy, reading high level of the works of his former student, awarded him the title of artist. To obtain permission for the teaching of art in secondary schools, Nersisyan in 1892 he went to Petersburg, passed additional examinations, after which he settled in the city of Vyborg, where he taught in the Russian school of drawing, painting and sketching. In the teachers questionnaire in 1894 noted that Nersisian has a rank of court counselor. In 1920 lived in Moscow. Died in 1944, buried at the Armenian cemetery Vagankovsky.
