German Air Sports Formation (Deutchen Luftsport-Verband (DLV)) was established in March 1933, and included all of the German civilian flying clubs, led this new organization Bruno Loerzer. Three principle groups made up the initial DLV organization: pilots of aircraft; pilots of gliders, pilots of balloons. DLV was dissolved in 1937 April to bring all civilian aviation activities under Nazi control.
