Description

Leather, steel, brass. An original and rather rare pouch in excellent storage condition. In the last months of the war and immediately after the general surrender of the German occupation forces in May 1945, the Allies had to transfer a large number of firearms, while some countries decided to arm their troops partially or completely with firearms that were used by the German armed forces. For example, Norway and Austria have completely switched to former German small arms, while countries such as France, Bulgaria and Yugoslavia have only partially switched to German small arms in their armed forces.

In addition to using captured items, Norway also produced several accessories for the MP38 and MP40. In addition to the magazine charger, the blank firing device and the manual, the Norwegians also produced their own leather magazine pouches. The design of these pouches was more or less the same as that of their German predecessors, that is, in fact, a set of 2 pouches that had to be attached to a soldier's belt and a Y-belt. A left pouch with 3 pockets for shops and a fourth, smaller pocket for a self-developed Norwegian charger for shops. The right pouch consisted of 3 pockets. The Norwegians developed two types of pouch sets, both in different colors: one had an almost orange skin color, and the other was light green. The different types are recognizable not only by color. There is also a clear difference in the D-ring and the "brackets". No production markings or stamps were placed on these pouches. Guarantee of authenticity.
