The Zeiss binoculars, which are very rare in our market, are in good condition. Prismatic binoculars (Porro prisms) with separate focusing of each eyepiece. It is based on the Zeiss Marineglas civil scheme. The multiplicity is 6x, and the lens diameter is 30 mm (6x30 format). The device was manufactured at the Hungarian branch of the famous German company Carl Zeiss in Győr. The plant opened in 1909, and in 1914 became a joint-stock company of Zeiss Károly Rt. (Carl Zeiss). The products were exclusively used for the needs of the Austro-Hungarian army. The following markings are applied on the eyepiece plates of the binoculars:
Binoculars produced by the Győr factory were produced in smaller editions than at the main factory in Jena or a branch in Vienna (Wien). Because of this, devices with the Zeiss Károly Győr brand are highly valued among collectors of military optics from the period of the First World War. The safety is good, 7 screws are missing from the eyepiece plates.
