Cross for women and girls of merit in the years 1870-71 (it. Verdienstkreuz für Frauen und Jungfrauen) — Prussian state award. This cross was founded by king and Emperor Wilhelm I on March 22, 1871 for women and girls who have shown tireless will of the victim during the war in discharging the responsibilities of nurses and physician's assistants during the Franco-Prussian war of 1870-1871 years.
