Description

The original pad with a winning participant of the First World war – knight iron cross 2nd class of the model 1914 and the Mecklenburg military merit cross 2nd class on ribbon for non-combatants.Mecklenburg Voynich cross of merit was established on August 5, 1848 by the Grand Duke Friedrich Franz II as an award for military merit. Friedrich Franz II (28 February 1823 — 15 April 1883) was the Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin from 7 March 1842. From 24 December 1870 cross began to reward the citizens who are not directly involved in the fighting (non-combatants). May 1, 1871 cross were awarded to women. On 28 February 1915 Grand Duke Friedrich Franz IV established a cross with the date "1914" in two grades. There are several varieties differing in date of delivery located on the lower beam of the cross. Non-combatants bore the cross on a red ribbon, with blue and yellow stripes on the edges. Guarantee authenticity and original collection. Excellent condition awards. Recommended!
