Badge of the Romanian voluntary sports society "Locomotive"

The original small icon is in good condition. Bronze, enamel. The sign is a diamond divided horizontally into two colored halves. White (top) and red (bottom) are the official colors of the sports society. In the center there is a metal overhead element in the form of a moving steam locomotive, on the boiler of which a five-pointed star is stamped. On the lower red edge there is a relief inscription "LOCOMOTIVA". Guarantee of authenticity.

This type of badge was produced in Romania in the 1950s. At that time, following the Soviet model, many Romanian sports and football clubs of railway workers (including the famous Bucharest Rapid) were temporarily renamed Lokomotiv (Locomotiva București, Locomotiva Târgu Mureș, etc.). The badge was awarded to athletes and members of this departmental society.
