Silver, stamping. An original and quite rare medal in very good collectible condition. Guarantee of authenticity.
The medal was established in 1893 by Sultan Abdul Hamid II in honor of the great industrial and agricultural exhibition in Constantinople. The medal was established in three degrees: gold, silver, bronze. Under the tugra of the Sultan, the date is 1279 (1893 from the Hijri), below is an inscription in Turkish Arabic letters: Zira'at ve Siâ'at (agriculture and industry). The medal was awarded to Turkish citizens and foreigners who made a significant contribution to the industry and agriculture of the Ottoman Empire, through the introduction of science and technology.
