The rarest find of our store is an original shoe with 4 crosses "For Bravery" of the 1915 model, which was, in fact, the Bulgarian equivalent of the Russian St. George's cross. The full bows of these awards are extremely rare. Bronze, gilding, remnants of silvering, stamping. The original collection. The pad weight is 59.76 grams. Traces of wear. Guarantee of authenticity.
The Cross "For Bravery" was established on January 1, 1880 by Prince Alexander I Battenberg (April 5, 1857 - October 23, 1893 Prince of Bulgaria (1879-1886). Crosses were awards for personal valor and heroism in battle. The cross was intended for awarding soldiers and non-commissioned officers and had 4 degrees. The awards were held sequentially, from the 4th degree to the 1st. The 1st and 2nd ct were gilded, and the 3rd and 4th ct were silvered. The degrees differed by the presence or absence of a bow on the ribbon. Grades 1 and 3 were with bows.
