The original pad in good collectible condition. The original Assembly. Includes 2 Polish insignia "Cross of Merit" (Krzyż Zasługi), and also a medal "Victory and freedom", established by decree of the State Council of the Polish people's Republic dated 26 October 1945. The cross of Merit was first established by order of the President of the Republic of Poland (Second Polish Republic) on 23 Jun 1923. December 22, 1944 by the decree of the Polish Committee of national liberation "...to recognize outstanding achievements that contribute to the glory and the benefit of the people's Polish" Cross of Merit was established again. Awarding the Cross of Merit produced: for high production achievements; for fruitful public activity; for high achievements in science and medicine, literature and the arts, sports. Cross of Merit was awarded to mothers of large families and donors. In each class an award could be made up to four times. Since 1960 there has been a change in the procedure for awarding the Cross of Merit. So Gold and Silver Cross of Merit the award could be made twice, the Bronze Cross of Merit — one time.
