The original state award Austria-Hungary is in good condition. The badge was established on August 22, 1914, by Emperor Franz Joseph I in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the International Committee of the Red Cross. The presence of a green enamel wreath of laurel branches indicates a "military distinction" (Kriegsdekoration). It was added if the service took place in a combat area and was fraught with danger to life. It is a silver cross with flaring ends, covered with red and white enamel. In the center is a red cross on a white background, surrounded by the inscription "PATRIAE AC HUMANITATI" (from Latin. "To the Fatherland and humanity"). The commemorative dates "1864-1914" are usually indicated on the reverse side. Silver, hot enamel. The enamel chips on the wreath. Guarantee of authenticity.
