The original medal is in very good collectible condition. Bronze, stamping. The medal is on the original pad. The diameter is 30 mm. In the center of the obverse is a chest image of two RNR soldiers in helmets, in profile to the left. The inscription around the circumference in Romanian is "ELIBERAREA DE SUB JUGUL FASCIST" ("LIBERATION FROM THE FASCIST YOKE"), as well as a restrictive sign in the form of a five-pointed star. In the center of the reverse there is an inscription in Romanian in three lines "IN SLUJBA POPORULUI MUNCITOR" ("In SERVICE TO THE WORKING PEOPLE"). Around the circumference of the medal is an image of a laurel wreath and abbreviations of three Latin letters "RPR" ( "Republica Populară Romînă"). The owner's document is included. The original name of the award in Romanian; Medalia "Eliberarea de sub jugul fascist". The medal was established on July 28, 1959 by the Decree of the State Council of the Romanian People's Republic No. 309. Servicemen and civilians of the Romanian People's Republic were awarded for their participation in the fight against fascism. Civilian and military officials of the Communist bloc countries were also presented for the award. The medal was dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the formation of the Romanian People's Republic. On the occasion of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from the RNR (abbreviated) in 1958, 35,027 servicemen of the Soviet Army received the medal "For Liberation from the Fascist yoke" (Decree No. 810 of June 14, 1958). The medal was worn on the left side of the uniform or civilian dress. When awarding, an award document was presented in the form of a book.
