Award of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. It was awarded for special services to the country, both in the field of national security, and for contribution to the development of the economy, science and culture. The Order was established by the Chairmanship of the Anti-Fascist Assembly of the People's Liberation of Yugoslavia by decree of June 9, 1945, together with the medal "For Services to the People". The Order had three degrees: I degree with a gold star, II degree with a silver star and III degree with a bronze star. The author of the appearance of the order and the medal was George Andreevich-Kun. The Order was awarded to persons for outstanding achievements in the construction of a socialist state, the organization and maintenance of national security and merits in the field of economics, science and culture. By the end of 1986, 5568 people were awarded the Order of the I degree, 39534 people were awarded the Order of the II degree, 282864 people were awarded the Order of the III degree and 430666 people were awarded the Medal.
