Order of Labor of the 3rd art. sample of 1948 in the original case, Romania

The original order is in excellent collector's condition. Silver, gilding. The badge of the order consists of three parts. In the center there is a sickle and a hammer resting on two ears of wheat, between which there is a five—pointed star covered with red enamel. On the sides — bay leaves. Under this is the personification of the sun, the center of which is covered with orange or yellow enamel, and multiple rays emanate from the center. At the bottom is a cartouche covered with red enamel, on which is written RPR (from 1947 to 1965), or RSR (from 1965 to 1998). In the first class, the sun's rays are golden, and the laurel leaves are silver. In the 2nd grade, the sun's rays are silver, and the laurel leaves are golden. In the 3rd grade, both the sun's rays and the leaves of the laurel are bronze in color. The order is placed in an original case. The order bar is also included. Guarantee of authenticity.

The Order of Labor (rum. Ordinul Muncii) is a state award of the Romanian People's Republic and the Socialist Republic of Romania. It includes the Order itself and the medal of the Order of Labor (room Medalia Muncii). The Order was established by Decree No. 16 of April 30, 1948. Three degrees were determined. It was awarded for special merits in areas of activity aimed at the prosperity of the state. Both individuals and organizations and enterprises were awarded. Together with him, the medal of the Order of Labor was established when the scale of merit did not reach the award of the order. There are from 9,000 awards. Along with the order , a material reward was also issued:

• for 1 degree — 2000 lei and 4 days of additional paid leave;


• for the 2nd degree — 1500 lei and three days of additional paid leave;


• for the 3rd degree — 1000 lei and 2 days of additional paid leave.


• Awards ceased after January 8, 1998.
