A gold badge in memory of the visit of the Russian squadron to Toulon in 1893

A very rare and interesting find of our store is a golden sign made in the form of the head of the national symbol of France – Marianne. Fastening to clothes is a needle. A gold assay stamp is punched on the needle. The sign is in an original leather-covered case with the inscription "LA VILLE DE PARIS // AUX MARINS DE L'ESCADRE RUSSE // OCTOBRE 1893" printed in gold. Russian Russian inscription is duplicated on the other side of the case: "The city of Paris // to the sailors of the Russian squadron // October 1893". The size of the sign is 13 * 66 mm, weight 1.5 grams. Case Size 30*30*105 mm. Guarantee of authenticity.
