The original cross is in excellent collector's condition. Bronze, stamping, enamel. Schutzkor (Swedish. Skyddskåren — "security unit"); Suojeluskunta (fin. Suojeluskunta, "civil guard") is a voluntary paramilitary organization in Finland. It was created in 1918 to fight the "red" Finns and Soviet troops during the Finnish Civil War. In the West, it is known as the "white guard". In 1940, members of the Schutskor were accepted into the Finnish Armed Forces. It was disbanded in 1944. Guarantee of authenticity.
