The original medal is in very good condition. Silver, stamping. The diameter is 36 mm. On the obverse there is a chest profile image of King George to the left, wearing a crown and a mantle. Next to the portrait are two small Latin letters VM, denoting the initials of the master medallist Bertram Mackennal (Sir Edgar Bertram Mackennal; 1863-1931), who worked as a medallist, author of portraits of King George V on medals and coins of Great Britain. There is an inscription around "GEORGIVS V KAISAR-I-HIND" (KAISAR-I-HIND; Hindi language — "GEORGE V EMPEROR OF INDIA"). On the reverse there is an image of the Jamrud fort against the background of the mountainous landscape of the Khyber Pass. In the exergue, formed by crossed oak and laurel branches, there is a cartouche with the inscription "INDIA". At the bottom is the monogram "GR" ("GEORGIVS REX"; "KING GEORGE"). The inscription "3007 SEPOY DERRU 2767/PUNJABIS" (name of the owner and place of service) is on the edge. The Combined Arms Medal "For Service in India 1908-1935" was awarded to members of the British Armed Forces for service on the Indian Subcontinent and adjacent territories. 12 established slats indicated the localization of territories of geographical objects of operational work. In 1936, this sample of the medal was partially abolished. Guarantee of authenticity.
