The award during this period was of two types: a pendant with a crown (for services to the "Crown") and without a crown (For services to the "Fatherland"). Depending on their position and the status of the cavalier, the medal was awarded in "gold" (senior officials and senior officers of the Armed Forces), in "silver" (middle-level officials, officers of the Armed Forces) and in "bronze" (lower-level officials, privates and non-commissioned officers of the Armed Forces). Depending on the award period, medals were issued on peacetime ribbons (with the ribbon of the Order of St. Alexander) or wartime (with the ribbon of the Order For Bravery).
