Silver, stamping. The issue of Boris III. The medal was established in 1881 and was awarded for outstanding services to the Bulgarian nation and the crown. On the obverse (obverse side) of the medal, there is an inscription in Bulgarian around the circumference: "BORIS III TSAR of Bulgaria" (Rus. "Boris III Tsar of Bulgaria"). The sample shown here is a rare variant where the letter "A" is missing from the word "BLGARIT". Reverse (reverse side): in the center is the inscription "FOR MERIT" (For merits) in two lines, surrounded by a wreath of oak and laurel leaves tied with a ribbon, and a five-pointed star at the bottom (this side is not visible in the image, but is standard for the medal). The award is suspended on a red ribbon. Initially, the medal was awarded on a crimson ribbon, but later it was approved to use the ribbon of the Order of Bravery (red) for services during the war and on the battlefield. Excellent condition. The original case is included. Guarantee of authenticity.
