An extremely rare medal in very good collector's condition. 900-proof silver, stamping, gilding. The medal is equipped with an original shoe and case. The obverse of the medal features a portrait of the reigning monarch Ferdinand I. On the reverse, in the center, there is an inscription in three lines: "FOR THE SALVATION OF THE DEAD" (the old spelling of the Bulgarian language), framed by a laurel wreath. The medal is topped with a royal crown with fluttering ribbons. Guarantee of authenticity.
Medal "For the salvation of the lost" (bolg. The Medal "For the Salvation of Those who Perish" is a Bulgarian award, established on October 15/28, 1908. It was awarded for saving people in disasters and disasters in three degrees (gold, silver, bronze).
