The original medal is in excellent collector's condition. Bronze, silk (moire); stamping. The diameter is 34.5 mm. Denkov V. Bulgarian orders, banners and medals. Catalog. Sofia, 2011. # 915. Quite rare. It was established on April 19, 1901. The April Uprising was a national liberation uprising in Bulgaria from April 18 to May 23, 1876, which was brutally suppressed by Turkish troops.
