Konstantin Dimitrov Avramov was a Bulgarian officer, Major General of artillery, participant in the Balkan War (1912-1913) and the Inter-Allied War (1913), battery commander of the 2nd Artillery Regiment during World War I (1915-1918) and chief of the labor forces during World War II (1941-1945).
Konstantin Avramov was born on January 27, 1890 in Sofia. On September 22, 1909, he graduated from His Majesty's Military College and was promoted to second lieutenant. On September 22 , 1912 , he was promoted to lieutenant . He took part in the Balkan War (1912-1913) and the Inter-Allied War (1913). On October 1, 1915, he was promoted to captain. During the First World War (1915-1918), Captain Avramov was the battery commander of the 2nd Artillery Regiment. For his service in 1918 in the Active Army, he was awarded the Military Order for Bravery, IV degree, 1st degree, which was confirmed by Order No. 355 of 1921.
He was promoted to major on April 1 , 1919 , and to lieutenant colonel on May 6 , 1923 . In 1924, he was appointed head of a department at the army headquarters. During the attack on the Church of the Holy Week on April 16, 1925, he was wounded. In 1928, he was appointed commander of the 2nd Artillery Regiment, and the following year assumed command of the 1st Army Artillery Regiment. On May 15 , 1930 , he was promoted to colonel . In 1934, he was dismissed from the service. During World War II, Major General Konstantin Avramov was mobilized, initially served as chief of Staff of the TV regiment, and on September 27, 1943, he was appointed chief of the labor forces. Major General Konstantin Avramov died in September 1977 in Sofia and was buried at the Central Sofia Cemetery.
