Bronze, stamping. The medal was established in 1881 and was awarded for outstanding services to the Bulgarian nation and the crown. Obverse (obverse side): the profile of the reigning monarch Ferdinand I is depicted, with an inscription in Bulgarian around the circumference: "FERDINAND I PRINCE OF Bulgaria" ("Ferdinand I Prince of Bulgaria"). Reverse (reverse side): in the center is the inscription "For Merit" (bolg.) in two lines, surrounded by a wreath of oak and laurel leaves tied with a ribbon, and a five-pointed star at the bottom (this side is not visible in the image, but is standard for the medal). The reward is on the original shoe. Initially, the medal was awarded on a crimson ribbon, but later the use of the ribbon of the Order of Bravery (red) for services during the war and on the battlefield was approved. Excellent condition. Guarantee of authenticity.
