 The Order "For Bravery" (bolg. The Order of Bravery was a state award of the principality and, from 1908 to 1946, of the Kingdom of Bulgaria. Since 2003 — the State award of the Republic of Bulgaria. The Order of Bravery is the very first Bulgarian order. It was established by decree of Prince Alexander Battenberg on January 1, 1880 to reward military personnel who showed courage and heroism on the battlefield.
