Description

The cockade depicts a muzzle-loading cannon topped with a crown. Above the cannon on the ribbon is the motto "UBIQUE" (Latin. "Everywhere"). It reflects the fact that gunners have participated in all campaigns and combat operations of the British Army for more than 300 years. The motto "QUO FAS ET GLORIA DUCUNT" under the cannon translates as "Where right and glory lead." The size is 47*62 mm. Bronze, stamping, patination. Excellent condition. Cockades of this type were used by officers and lower ranks of the British Army during both World Wars. Guarantee of authenticity.
