The quiver is a leather base covered with black cloth. Outside for rigidity at the top, bottom and sides stitched black leather straps (side form the letter "V"). Between the side straps have air vents. Reinforcement in the form of an Imperial eagle with expanded metal part number typical for the French army during the Second Empire. Front above the eagle was fastened round badge tricolour outlet and – in full uniform – low the Sultan or pompon (lost). Painting the bottom of the leather visor green was used in the French army in the 1830s On the underside of the hood stamps size "of 4 ½" and the manufacturer. Condition-fairly good. The guarantee of authenticity.
