The helmet is completely made of stamped brass. At the top there is a characteristic high ridge with embossed furrows, which performed protective and decorative functions. In the center of the cockade is a flaming grenade, a classic symbol of the French fire brigades and grenadiers. A shield with a grenade is framed by laurel and oak branches. A serf crown crowns it from above. The engraved phrase "SAPEURS-POMPIERS DE MONTHELON" (Sappers-firefighters of the city of Montelon). Original balaclava and chin strap. The size is small.
