Bicorn hat of an officer of the French Navy in a case, 1889

The original bicorn is in excellent condition. Felt, cotton, silk, embroidery with gold thread. The size is average. The golden brand of the manufacturer on the bottom in the center belongs to the famous French atelier Moulin Aîné, which was located in the port city of Cherbourg. The inscription "Fournisseur de la Marine" indicates that this atelier was the official supplier of the French Navy. The gold monogram of the owner with the Latin letters "H. B." is embroidered in the lower part of the lining. The original wooden case is included. Guarantee of authenticity.
