The sign of the "Silesian eagle" established 16.06.1919 year recognition of the service of members of volunteer corps for the protection of Upper Silesia from the Polish separatists. 16.05.1933 later years of the NSDAP declared the award "Silesian eagle" the official award of the Germany.
