The original print run is in excellent collector's condition. Photo studio of K. I. Bergamasco. A portrait visit. Albumin print. Small scuffs, temporary stains, owner's droppings in the lower part of the passepartout. The photo shows the Prince of Wales, the future King of Great Britain and Ireland, the Emperor of India (1901-1910), uncle of Nicholas II and William II, Edward VII (1841-1910). The prince is filmed in the uniform of the 10th Royal Hussars (His His Highness the Prince of Wales) regiment. On the prince 's uniform , you can see the Order of St. Andrew the First - Called (awarded in 1844). This and other photographs of the Prince of Wales, taken in the Bergamasco photo studio, are known from the same photo shoot. This photo is included in the Portraits of Royal Children collection (vol. 10, January 1866 – April 1867). In June 1908, when Edward VII was already king, he became the first British monarch to visit the Russian Empire. A rare photo.
