Description

The original photo is in excellent collector's condition. An explanation of the event is printed on the back in German. Based on the description, the front side of the photo depicts General Todorov himself (1858-1934). together with his staff (officers). During the First World War, Todorov commanded the 2nd Bulgarian Army. During the Ovchepol operation (1915), his troops defeated the Serbian forces, which allowed Bulgaria to occupy the territory of Macedonia. The text indicates that the general had recently received this award, the highest military order of Prussia (Germany) at that time, also known as the Blue Max. Todorov was one of the few foreign generals awarded this honor for outstanding military command. Guarantee of authenticity.
