Description

A very rare and beautiful document in excellent collectible condition. It can become a wonderful status gift to a high-level manager. With the certificate of authenticity of the "International House of Autographs" (Spain).

The letter was written in Sedan on August 9, 1803 and addressed to Consul Jean-Jacques Regis de Cambaceres, in French. In the header of the letter there is a republican vignette: "Au nom du Peuple Français" ("Bonaparte, Consul of the Republic"). The letter dictated by Napoleon is written in the hand of Claude-Francois Meneval, Bonaparte's private secretary. La chaleur est toujours ici très forte" ("I'm leaving for Reims in an hour, citizen Consul. I am very happy with the factories in this city. I am immersed in his spirit. All the news I receive from all sides informs me that our ships are forcibly entering the ports of Spain and even the North. The heat is still very strong here", French.). Napoleon, as The first consul, at the end of June 1803, began an inspection trip to the north of France and Belgium, where he worked on his first plan for the invasion of England. Verger paper, with watermarks of Jan Kool paper mill. Guarantee of authenticity. A rarity of the museum level, when decorated in a frame with a passepartout, it can become an excellent status gift to a high-level manager.
